Now that the league champions across Europe have been crowned, we wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you to everybody who has travelled with Fan Fare Events this year. 2003-4 was our busiest season so far, with more and more of you wanting to ‘See the Game LIVE!’ at the most famous stadiums in the world.

And what a fantastic season we have seen. With Mr Beckham joining Ronaldo, Zidane, Figo, Carlos, Raul and becoming one of the Galaticos, we always knew we were in for an exciting (and busy!) time in Spain.  What none of us realised was just how competitive and full of surprises La Liga would be. We were privileged to have many hundreds of you accompany us to many truly fantastic games, not only the traditionally competitive derbies, but many other close-fought matches too. Who could forget Barcelona's 2-1 crucial victory against Madrid in the Santiago Bernabeu, which was surely the highlight of the last campaign.

In Italy, the all conquering AC Milan emerged with Lo Scudetto, their 1st championship since 1999, whilst in Germany a surprise package, Werder Bremen clinched the Bundesliga with their Brazilian topscorer Ailton propelling them to the title. Elsewhere in Europe the all conquering Porto, comprehensively won the Portuguese championship once again, and also won the European Champions League to cap an immense season. The profile of French football has been raised dramatically due to Monaco's progression to the Champions League Final and Marseille's participation in the UEFA Cup Final. Lyon were crowned Champions for the 3rd successive season, whilst much improved Paris St. Germain finished runners up.

The Brazilian league is in full swing and if you are short on a football fix, then try some legendary Rio De Janeiro samba style football. Teams include Flamengo and Flumenese, Vasco Da Gama and Botafogo who all play in the breathtaking Maracana stadium in Rio. Alternatively Sao Paulo is another Brazilian footballing hotbed with teams including Sao Paulo, Santos and Corinthians.
