Downtown to FedEx Field
Want to avoid the hassle of driving? Then hop on the Metro. Just take the Blue Line to the Morgan Boulevard Metro Station. The Morgan Boulevard Station is located on Garrett Morgan Boulevard and is within 1-mile walking distance to FedEx Field.

Downtown to Nationals Park
Unless you have reserved parking surrounding Nationals Park, Metro and Nats Express are the best ways to go to the game.
Location: Nationals Park is located in Southeast Washington along the Anacostia River bounded by South Capitol Street to the west, North Street to the north, First Street to the east and Potomac Avenue to the south.

Downtown to Verizon Center
The Verizon Center, located in downtown Washington DC, is a state-of-the-art sports and entertainment facility. Home to the NBA's Washington Wizards, NHL's Washington Capitals, WNBA's Washington Mystics, and the NCAA's Georgetown Hoyas's men's basketball team.

The Capitol is among the most architecturally impressive and symbolically important buildings in the world. The Senate and the House of Representatives have met here for more than two centuries. Begun in 1793, the Capitol has been built, burnt, rebuilt, extended, and restored; today, it stands as a monument not only to its builders but also to the American people and their government.
Hours: The Capitol Visitor Center is open to visitors from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday except for Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day and Inauguration Day. Tours of the U.S. Capitol are conducted from 8:50 a.m. to 3:20 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

The Smithsonian Institution
Start your visit at the Smithsonian Information Center in the Castle, open daily from 8:30am to 5:30pm, your gateway to learning about the Smithsonian's 19 museums and 9 research centres.
Smithsonian museums in Washington, D.C., are open every day of the year except December 25. Most museums are open from 10am to 5:30pm.
Ten of the Smithsonian museums in Washington, D.C., span an area from 3rd to 14th Streets between Constitution Avenue and Independence Avenue, approximately 1 mile (1.6 km). Because you will do a lot of walking between and within museums, plan to wear comfortable clothing and shoes!

The Washington Monument, a memorial to George Washington, the first president, is the most prominent landmark in Washington, DC and stands as the centrepiece of the National Mall.

Old Town Trolley Tours are a convenient way to explore Washington, DC, especially for a first time visitor.
